Government Extends Furlough to March and Increases Self-Employed Support

Local Restriction Support Grants – businesses that have been forced to close due to either the previous Tier 3 or National Lockdown restrictions may be able to claim a grant, links to local authorities administering these are:

Furlough Scheme Extended and Further Economic Support Announced

Plan for Jobs – the Chancellor increases financial support for businesses and workers

UPDATED – The Job Support Scheme – the current furlough scheme (CJRS) comes to an end on 31 October 2020 and will initially be replaced by an extended CJRS for November before being replaced by the Job Support Scheme (JSS)

Hospitality and Leisure Support Grant – an emergency fund of up to £40million opened on Friday 16 October in a bid to protect Liverpool City Region’s vital hospitality and leisure businesses from the huge economic impact Covid-19 restrictions are having on the sector

Eligible businesses wishing to apply should visit their own Local Authority websites for details and they will be able to apply online when the window opens.
